1. IHRAM

	Make ghusl (bathe)
	Put on the Ihram
	Make ‘Umra intention
	Recite Talbiyah
	Avoid forbidden acts of Ihram

2. UMRAH

	Make Tawaf around the Ka‚bah
	Offer 2 raka behind Maqam Ibrahim
	Make Sa‚i between Safa & Marwah
	Trim hair & remove Ihram

3. MINA

	Put on Ihram again
	Make intention for Hajj
	Remain in Mina during 8th Dhul-Hijjah (Tarwiya Day); perform 5 prayers from Dhuhr ending with al-Fajr prayer on the day of ‘Arafah.

4. ‘ARAFAH

	On the morning of 9th Dhul- Hijjah proceed to ‘Arafah and stay till sunset.
	Glorify Allah, repeat supplication and make repentance and ask for Allah’s forgiveness.
	At Dhuhr time, pray Dhuhr & ‘Asr combined & shortened.

5. MUZDALIFA

	Proceed to Muzdalifa after sunset on 9th Dhul-Hijjah
	Pray Maghrib & Isha combined, shortening ‘Isha to raka‚ats.
	Stay overnight and pray al-Fajr.

6. MINA

	Leave for Mina shortly before sunset.
	In Jamarat al-’Aqabah stone it with 7 pebbles.
	Slaughter an animal
	Shave or trim hair
	Remove Ihram
	All Ihram restrictions are lifted except sexual relationship

7. TAWAF AL-IFADA

	Make Tawaf al-Ifada
	Make Sa‚I between Safa & Marwah
	After Tawaf al-Ifada on 10th Dhul-Hujja (Al-Tahallul al-Asar), all restrictions are lifted

8. RETURN TO MINA

	Spend the Tashriq days in Mina
	Each day after Dhuhr, stone the 3 Jamarat, starting with the small and ending with Al-Aqabah.
	It is permissible to leave on the 12th after stoning the 3 Jamarat.

9. FAREWELL TAWAF

	Go to Makka to make farewell Tawaf
	Perform 2 raka‚ats of Tawaf
	This should be last the thing for pilgrim in Makkah.

10. RETURNING HOME

It is advisable to visit the Prophet‚s Mosque in Madinah but this is not part of Hajj.
